No. 13 Florida State solidified its best season since 2016 in the Cheez-It Bowl on Thursday, beating the Oklahoma Sooners to advance to 10-3 (5-3) on the year.
The win was a feather in the cap on a 2022 season that saw the Seminoles begin to finally piece together the vision that head coach Mike Norvell has for the program, stumbling during a three-game losing streak but the rest of the year showcasing explosive offensive play and a defense featuring plenty of talented stars.
After the game, national personalities ranging from sportswriters to former and future Seminoles weighed in on the win as well as what the future could hold for Norvell and his squad:

One of the most enjoyable #FSU football teams in several years. This moment really encapsulated this season. The team rallying around transfer lineman Jazston Turnetine (@Jaz2K_007 ) who came without a promised starting role but was a key to their success. Tons of heart. #culture https://t.co/0K0BsHGCdk

Go NOLES! Ending the season top 10 sheesh

David Hale (ESPN contributor):
That bowl game was frustrating (esp for those of us who had FSU -10) but it’s crazy to think that after all the years of misery, the Noles will be a top-10 team and with a Clemson loss could be the ACC’s highest ranked team in 2022.
